Canadian National Railway Company (CN) is looking for a highly motivated person to fulfill a full-time (40h/week) Intern, CN Corporate Communications Strategy position in Montreal, QC from Sept – Dec 2024.
Job Summary
The Intern, CN Corporate Communications Strategy is responsible for assisting in the delivery of CN communications. The incumbent acts as a key resource for the team by supporting the operational planning, coordination and help improve the way we operate. As a core project, the intern will interact with the channel & the communication team along with our partners within the company to help map out the way we manage the campaigns today and help us roll out new processes that will drive efficiency in the future. The intern will also assists also in the day-to-day delivery and tracking of projects.

Major Responsibilities

  • Support the team to map out the different communication scenarios and processes associated with it
  • Participate in the documentation of the channels and communication ecosystem that we have
  • Help build stronger processes and documentation that will improve the way we operate long-term
  • Improve the way we track and report on campaigns
  • Support marketing planning / advertising

Requirements

  • Strong project management skills
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to enable higher productivity planning and organization
  • Deadline focused and results oriented
  • Fluently bilingual both written and verbal (English, French)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Regularly identifies opportunities to create value and customer loyalty

Education

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent
