Our Luxembourg Branch is seeking a dynamic and motivated student to join our team as an intern. This part-time internship (20 hours per week) will last for 12 months, beginning as soon as possible.
Within AllianzGI, the BAU Change team coordinates life-cycle events such as fund launches, mergers, liquidations, FX setups, and custody account openings. These activities ensure operational readiness from the operations perspective. During your internship, you will join the team managing retail and institutional fund events for our European fund range. Currently, the team is transforming its processes into a fully digital workflow using MS PowerApps. Your main role will be to support the custody market account opening and maintenance, as well as the ongoing digitalization via MS PowerApps.
Please note that the successful candidate will have to provide us with a valid criminal record.

• Open new market accounts globally for our funds and portfolio managers across Europe
• Register and renew fund registrations in various markets
• Maintain up to date KYC data across different markets
• Enhance interfaces, processes and new activities, focusing on custody areas
• Implement and document new operational facilities and infrastructure with third parties, specifically in the Indian market
• Refine existing workflows or establish new ones using MS PowerApps
• Enhance reporting for FX transaction cost analysis via PowerBi
  You will also have the opportunity to participate in various meetings and gain valuable insights into the mutual fund industry.
