Responsibilities:
- Research on current natural disasters for the NatCatSERVICE damage database, worldwide and in several languages
- Review and interpretation of current scientific research on climate change to understand its impact on extreme weather events. Experience in evaluating IPCC reports is an advantage.
- Entry of damage events as well as maintenance and updating of the NatCatSERVICE database
- Statistical evaluation of natural disasters
- Creation of map material with ArcGIS if qualified
- Assessment of the current status and short- to medium-term prospects of the energy transition, with a focus on technological and economic risks in the generation and storage of renewable energy.
- Creation of concise and informative presentations for senior management, key customers, and other stakeholders
