Your opportunity
This is an exciting, year-round opportunity for aspiring Software Engineers who are currently pursuing a degree in Informatics, Computer Science or other relevant to software development discipline.
As an intern at KAL, you will work in collaboration with and under the guidance of other members of our Engineering team. Over a period of 8-12 weeks, our aim will be to provide you with a practical insight into the business, whilst giving you valuable experience of software engineering to support your studies. You will be given the support and mentorship you need to ensure you make the most of your time with us, as we want you to make a valid contribution to our business throughout your placement. To develop quickly, you will be given a real taster of the role and real responsibility as early as possible.

What you’ll bring to the role

• Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related engineering degrees
• On track to achieve a 2:1 minimum
• A solid understanding of software as part of a system
• Knowledge of C, C#, C++, Angular, React, SQL and other back end systems
• Knowledge of testing including structured debugging
• An interest in the commercial use of technology
• Fluency in English is essential as English is our working language
• Must have the legal right to live and work in the country of application

This role is open and suited to undergraduates or graduates in third or final year of university.
