This is a remote position.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
We are looking for a UI/UX Design Intern to turn our software into easy-to-use products for our clients. UI/UX Design Intern responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements, and building navigation components. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you’ll create functional and appealing features that address our client’s needs and help us grow our customer base.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in UI/UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.
SKILL SETS:
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application in product design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and a strong visual sense.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Research: Perform primary and secondary research to gather insights and support AI/ML integration projects. Interview doctors and other healthcare professionals to understand their needs and preferences.
- Collaborate on User Requirements: Work closely with product managers and project managers to understand and document user requirements.
- Design and Illustration: Create storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to illustrate design ideas. Develop user interface elements such as menus, tabs, and widgets.
- Develop Mockups and Prototypes: Create UI mockups, wireframes, and prototypes to visually represent how the application functions and appears.
- Graphic Design: Produce original graphic designs, including images, sketches, and tables, to enhance user interfaces.
- Presentation and Feedback: Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders. Incorporate feedback into designs to ensure continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot UX Issues: Identify and resolve UX problems, ensuring designs are responsive and user-friendly.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, integrating feedback and maintaining open communication.
- Adhere to Style Standards: Follow style guidelines on fonts, colors, and images to maintain consistency across the product.
- Make Informed Design Decisions: Utilize research and data to make decisions that enhance the user experience.
- Stay Updated with Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices in UI/UX design.
