Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Internal Audit Quality Manager to join the Chief Aerospace Safety Office (CASO) team in Charleston, SC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 3 + years of experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- 3 + years of experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, process specifications and Quality Management System documentation
- 3 + years of experience working within a manufacturing and/or quality production environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field
- Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
- 3+ years of experience leading teams including cross-functional teams
- 3+ years of experience in root cause analysis/systematic problem solving
Responsibilities:
- Manages employees who conduct internal audits to evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations
- Develops and executes annual audit business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance
- Provides education and coaching on the Quality Management System
- May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies
- Acquires and manages resources and leads evaluation of process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
