• Propose IA scope and develop an annual plan, that shall be yearly approved by the A&GRC Committee.
• Perform the full audit cycle including control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable regulations and internal governing documents according to approved audit plan.
• Prepare and present good reports that reflect audit results with focus on improvement areas and document processes and suggested changes.
• Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality, and goal achievement.
• Lead initiatives for operational excellence, driving value-added changes to optimize processes and enhance overall organizational performance.
• Identify loopholes and synergy areas and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
• Maintain open communication with management and the A&GRC Committee.
• Conduct follow-up audits to monitor the organisation’s adherence to audit findings and recommendations and assure improvement and progress according to plan.
• Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards both within audit and business process improvement.
• See potential synergies between processes and make sure departments are challenged on similar/other initiatives that may improve “how we work” going forward.
• Challenge and suggest improvements in Policy framework, processes, SOPs, and existing awareness/training programmes and cooperate with GRC department to monitor progress
• Be a change initiator in the organization when it comes to “how we work” and have continuous focus on improving the business operations
