Description:
HI Partners, a leading Recruiting Agency, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Internal Auditor to join a reputable firm in Luxembourg.
As an Internal Auditor, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and identifying areas for improvement within our organization. This role requires proficiency in both German (GER) and French (FR) languages.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal audit, preferably in a similar role
Fluency in both German (GER) and French (FR) languages is mandatory ; Knowledge of Luxembourgish and English is an advantage
Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards and practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office applications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and deadlines

Responsibilities:
- Reviewing the current accounting records
- Performing year-end bookkeeping
- Preparing annual and interim financial statements
- Compiling periodic tax and VAT returns, as well as summaries for intra-European goods and services
- Independently handling balance sheet accounting
- Conducting administrative audits
- Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with reconciliation
- Reporting, evaluating, and interpreting figures for planning and control decisions
- Serving as a point of contact for management regarding accounting matters and operational control
- Reconciling General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Vendor Accounts
- Acting as the primary contact (internal/external) for accounting transactions related to accounts payable and receivable
- Coordinating with external partners such as auditors and tax consultants
- Registering new companies and providing ongoing support for VAT-related matters
- Independently monitoring all tax deadlines
