Description:

We are in search of a diligent Internal Auditor to join our team in PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania. This role is pivotal in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of our audits by managing project plans and resources, leading audits, and supporting other audits as assigned. You will play a crucial role in evaluating financial and operational controls, providing improvement recommendations, and utilizing tools for data analysis to identify areas of risk.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead audits by managing project plans and resources to ensure successful completion
  • Support efforts on other audits as assigned
  • Evaluate and test internal controls of business processes
  • Provide recommendations to improve processes and internal controls
  • Utilize tools for data analysis to identify areas of risk and focus during pre-audit planning and audit execution
  • Discuss key audit issues with management effectively
  • Assist external auditors with SOX-related audit testing
  • Participate in cross-functional teams, working collaboratively to continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of audits
  • Travel to company locations throughout North America as required
  • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
  • Demonstrated experience with Audit Programs
  • Knowledge of CobiT framework
  • Familiarity with DCAA regulations and guidelines
  • Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
  • Ability to perform Accounting Functions efficiently
  • Capacity to analyze and report Audit Findings accurately
  • Proven skills in Auditing procedures
  • Experience in creating detailed Audit Reports
  • Ability to ensure Compliance with relevant laws and regulations
