ABOUT THE ROLE:
Are you ready to take your career to new heights? Compare the Market is on the lookout for an Internal Communications and Engagement Specialist to join our passionate team. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in driving internal engagement efforts, focusing on building enthusiasm and engagement among our team. This is a unique opportunity to blend strategic vision with hands-on operational execution, ensuring that our organisational values are upheld and embedded throughout the company.
You will be the primary advocate for internal engagement, organising impactful events and developing communication strategies to boost employee engagement. Your responsibilities will encompass strategy (creating communication plans and initiatives), operations (organising events and managing communication channels), stakeholder management (cultivating strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders), and culture change (promoting a professional environment where every voice is valued, and ideas are encouraged).
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Develop and implement internal communications strategies that support organisational goals, promoting transparency and engagement.
- Create compelling messages across various platforms (newsletters, emails, intranet, digital platforms) to inform and motivate employees, highlighting company news, initiatives, and successes.
- Craft communications addressing changes, concerns, and driving adoption during organisational transitions.
- Manage and enhance internal communication channels, including the intranet, for efficient information dissemination and employee engagement.
- Cultivate strong relationships with senior leadership and business partners to develop and deliver key messages, ensuring communication alignment and clarity.
- Collaborate with community partners to create volunteer and community engagement opportunities for team members.
- Support People & Culture initiatives (e.g., performance coaching cycles, engagement, and pulse surveys) with timely and impactful communications to employees.
- Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of internal communications, using data insights to refine communication strategies.
