INTERNAL SALES & CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Digga is Australia’s leading manufacturer of Machinery attachments for the Earthmoving & Construction industry. A multi-award winning, global company, with 5 state of the art facilities worldwide, our product & passion for providing total customer solutions is second to none.
We have an opportunity for an internal sales & customer service representative to join our dynamic team based at our head office site in Yatala, Qld. You will be passionate about providing a quality customer service experience and be able to demonstrate superior skills in multitasking for this fast-paced environment. To be successful in the role you will be an enthusiastic administration professional with a keen interest in sales who is willing to learn all aspects of our manufacturing business.

You will be responsible for:

  • Efficiently & effectively processing internal sales orders
  • Dealing with walk in customers and over the counter sales
  • Liaise effectively and professionally with team members from planning, production, and despatch, to ensure sales orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
  • Develop and maintain up to date knowledge of Digga’s product range
  • Support customer end to end administrative requirements
  • Develop and support effective relationships with dealers and customers
  • Assist the sales team and dealers on all orders, stock, and delivery status
  • Creating a memorable customer experience – ensuring all orders are followed through from point of sale, through departments to ensure the product is delivered in full in a timely manner

Responsibilities:

TO BE SUCCESSFUL FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Experience in a similar customer service role or knowledge of sales practices highly regarded
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident and outgoing nature with a professional attitude
  • Highly motivated, and ability to work autonomously
  • Reliability and strong work ethic required
  • Good organizational and planning skills
  • Demonstrated desire to work in a customer service environment going above and beyond to satisfy the customer
  • Must demonstrate the desire to perform in a professional manner as a team member as well as to give inputs on activities that will help complete project assignments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Experience with ERP or CRM an advantage
    Whilst not essential, experience working within a manufacturing/trade environment or knowledge or passion for earthmoving equipment and attachments will be highly regarded.
