Description:

  • Coordinate the day-to-day management of customers, including generating, managing, and converting sales leads using designated processes and systems like OPT.
  • Identify and pursue profitable sales opportunities.
  • Prepare commercial proposals (quotations, tenders, etc.) within customer deadlines or agreed-upon timeframes.
  • Handle inbound calls, establish effective customer relationships, and cultivate customer loyalty by consistently delivering excellent levels of customer service.
  • Foster strong customer relationships using various communication methods, understanding their business needs, addressing any concerns, and following up on sales opportunities.
  • Proactively manage customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions to the Business Development Manager (BDM) for sales opportunities that cannot be progressed via telephone.
  • Initiate outbound calls to prospective clients, securing qualified appointments for the field sales team.
  • Collaborate closely with field sales team members, providing sales support, prospecting opportunities, and assisting with data gathering and follow-up.
  • Prioritize workload in alignment with core products, sectors, and geographies.
  • Handle all cancellation requests and claims, following standard operating procedures and escalation policies as required.
  • Attend sales meetings and participate in learning and training activities to continuously enhance customer service and sales knowledge.
  • Proactively follow up on quotations to track the status of proposals and convert opportunities into orders.
  • Assist in market research and prospecting activities to generate new customer sales, exercising sound judgment to negotiate and convert opportunities.
  • Review orders received, conduct contract reviews, and communicate contractual requirements to the manufacturing division.
  • Effectively utilize IT systems in accordance with company procedures.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure adherence to customer specifications.
