Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

A leading provider of container security solutions seeks to employ an energetic Internal Sales Representative to assist the owner in the day-to-day operations of the business. This is a half-day 3-month fixed term contract. This role will involve engaging with clients, generating quotations and invoices, managing stock, coordinating deliveries, and providing general administrative support.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients through email and telephone communication.
  • Generate formal quotations using the online accounting system.
  • Prepare informal quotations via email.
  • Capture purchase orders and convert quotations to invoices.
  • Generate delivery notes using the online accounting system.
  • Coordinate collection or deliveries, including engaging with courier companies and delivering stock to clients.
  • Manage stock control, including generating purchase orders for suppliers and fabricators, engaging with vendors to confirm stock availability and pricing, and conducting quarterly stock takes.
  • Manage the procurement cycle by following up with clients after purchases, requesting photos of equipment in action, and periodically checking in with clients for additional needs.
  • Handle general administrative tasks such as hard copy filing.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Publisher.
  • Knowledge of MS Projects is advantageous.
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
  • Technical aptitude, with the ability to understand technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • Project management skills and understanding are beneficial.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
