ACCOUNT MANAGERS

Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi | About the Role
Working in the busy International Centre you’ll play a pivotal role in generating international revenues for Wintec through the delivery of short courses and consultancy services. A core part of the role will be to lead an international business development sales team. You and the team will manage key accounts, contracts and sales opportunities with international partners, industry and Government agencies.

The International Business Development Manager is based in our Business Division Hamilton | Te Pūkenga and will be responsible for:

  • Strategy and planning for international business development.
  • Generating leads, following through with opportunities, proactively selling Wintec’s products and services, negotiating contracts and bringing in international revenue.
  • Managing key accounts, contracts and sales opportunities with international partners, industry and government agencies

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Significant experience in developing relationships offshore, preparing bids and managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with highly developed interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Degree in any discipline and a minimum of 7 years’ experience in international business development roles, preferably within tertiary education.
