We are looking for an Clinical Specialist to join Medeco B.V. this role will cover the Mediq Own Brand (MOB) portfolio and will be pivotal in supporting our brand development and international growth. This position will support evidence generation, testimonial, publication and clinical education with a focus on Germany and Nordics market. The ideal candidate will therefore have a Nurse/ clinical background band experience with medical devices and is both English and German speaking. You will report to the Director MOB.
Responsibilities:
This position is critical in supporting the MOB ambitious strategic growth plans and driving our future operating model. He or she will be working with the Category Management team, Business Units and Clinicians. The product knowledge of this Clinical Specialist will also be used to support product offering and conversions for tenders. He or she will provide upport to our Category management team and Business units across the Mediq Own Brand porfolio (MOB): Klinion, Absorin, Curion and Cenaman - encompassing: wound care, incontinence, drainage, personal care, nursing, facilities, infusion, diabetes and nutrition. The Cllinical Specialist will need to conduct an evidence GAP analysis and prioritisation plan across the MOB categories. This person will further develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders across MOB categories to drive product evaluation resulting in poster presentation and publication. He or she will work closely with Category Management to ensure product prioritisation planning
Further respsonsiblities are:
- Work with external laboratories to build testing data to support product claims
- Support new product development user experience data and marketing story
- To educate via webinar’s across MOB therapy areas
- Promote the benefits of the MOB products and educate both clinicians and internal team
- Support Category Managers and BUs with tender conversions
- To work with KOLs and patient groups to build testimonial database
- Generate evidence to support market positioning and product features, advantages and benefits
- Develop educational and clinical support materials in conjunction with marketing across portfolio
- Conduct literature search and support post market surveillance
- Prepare reports, presentations, posters and papers for internal and external publication
- Support medical response within complaints handling process
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders with Mediq business units for clinical educational support
- To keep own skills, knowledge and relevant qualifications up to date
