Responsibilities:

Predominantly based at our Cambridge campus (with occasional travel to Chelmsford), the role will lead the development of a co-ordinated targeted support for international students in different learning settings. The role holder will work closely with professional services and academic course teams such that support is embedded into delivery where appropriate, and available in a co- or extra- curricular fashion. The role will require student facing activity at times.
The postholder will bring knowledge of student support and be informed by an understanding both of the challenges of entering UK HE from other leaning cultures, and of methods toward enhancing student success.
You’ll have a degree, appropriate level of experience and evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the role. You’ll have experience of delivering education services to international student cohorts, planning and co-ordinating activities (or similar) within an organisation. You will have a successful record of administration and management of information from different sources, be IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and a good working understanding of using Microsoft Excel. You will be able to work effectively across a complex, fast-paced environment, be able to work effectively in a team and demonstrate personable attributes required for being student facing.
