Description:
The SEO Internet Marketing Consultant will be responsible for the execution of various search engine optimization activities, including keyword research and strategy development, developing on-page meta recommendations, technical site audits, and organic performance analysis across Rise’s SEO client portfolio.
The ideal candidate will possess superior organizational and time management skills as they will be expected to work on and be held accountable to completing multiple internal and external projects simultaneously. In addition, candidates for this role will be process driven and expected to understand problems at a fundamental level in order to develop data-driven creative solutions to solve them through day-to-day organic account management.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- 1-2 years of SEO-specific experience, additional digital marketing experience is a plus
- Fluency with English communication skills is required along with excellent presentation skills. Familiarity with AP Style preferred
- Background in business, engineering, and/or sciences strongly preferred
- Experience with analyzing data is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience and familiarity w/ Excel, VBA is a plus
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity
Responsibilities:
- Utilizing multiple datasets to perform keyword research, strategy, and on-page content optimizations
- Identifying trends in keyword topics to help influence content recommendations, social media syndication, and information architecture
- Analyzing and auditing site structure and CMS for technical issues such as indexation and error handling, page speed, and duplicate content
- Performing internal link analysis and make recommendations around internal link structure and page authority
- Utilizing strong analytical skills to extract insights from traffic/ranking data and provide well developed quantitatively based recommendations to accomplish client goals and objectives
