Internship Automation Software Tester / Quality Assurance at IoT Startup (m/f/d)

We are looking for a new team member for our software testing and quality assurance of our Smart Kiosks.
Must-have requirement: Mandatory internship for university
Location: Düsseldorf-Bilk
Start: by arrangement / immediately

Tasks

• Designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications
• Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and identify potential areas for automation testing
• Conducting review meetings, preparing summary reports and communicating with the software team
• Error tracking and bug reporting to developers and other team members
• Perform manual and automated tests to ensure software functionality, usability, and performance meet quality standards
• Document and report software defects, track their status, and work closely with developers to resolve issues
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software testing process by suggesting innovative ideas and best practices

Requirements

• 6 months mandatory internship required by the university
• Good knowledge of QA processes, methodologies, standards and strategies
• Knowledge of any automated testing framework (Cypress, TestNG, Robot Framework, Selenium etc.)
• Basic knowledge of any programming language (preferable JavaScript, also accepted Java, Python etc)
• Basic handling of Jira for ticket management and Confluence for documentation
• Ideally: Docker, Git, CI/CD, API Testing (Postman), Agile Scrum
