Description:
We are looking for a new team member for our software testing and quality assurance of our Smart Kiosks.
Must-have requirement: Mandatory internship for university
Location: Düsseldorf-Bilk
Start: by arrangement / immediately
Tasks
- Designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and identify potential areas for automation testing
- Conducting review meetings, preparing summary reports and communicating with the software team
- Error tracking and bug reporting to developers and other team members
- Perform manual and automated tests to ensure software functionality, usability, and performance meet quality standards
- Document and report software defects, track their status, and work closely with developers to resolve issues
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software testing process by suggesting innovative ideas and best practices
Requirements
- 6 months mandatory internship required by the university
- Good knowledge of QA processes, methodologies, standards and strategies
- Knowledge of any automated testing framework (Cypress, TestNG, Robot Framework, Selenium etc.)
- Basic knowledge of any programming language (preferable JavaScript, also accepted Java, Python etc)
- Basic handling of Jira for ticket management and Confluence for documentation
- Ideally: Docker, Git, CI/CD, API Testing (Postman), Agile Scrum
