DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) within aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or similar field of study
- Good understanding of structural dynamics
- First knowledge in Structural Finite-Element Analysis (dynamic analysis would be a plus)
- Experience with MS Office (including Excel)
- First experience with Finite-Element Analysis Software like Nastran and Hyperworks
- Nice to have: Experience in programming with Matlab
- English: fluent
- Nice to have: German
- You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Create Finite Element (FE) Models of satellite structures, instruments and components. FE models have to be compliant to department standards and good practices
- Conduct static and dynamic, linear and nonlinear structural analyses
- Perform structural assessments by means of hand calculations
- Prepare, support and evaluate mechanical tests
- (Further-) develop analysis methods and processes
- (Further-) develop tools in Excel or Matlab for the automatization of analysis pre-/ post processing tasks
- Understand and prepare technical documentation in English or German
