Description:

WHAT YOU STAND TO GAIN:

Successful candidates will be supervised on a day-to-day basis by S&P’s team of European economists and by the Chief Economist EMEA for the scientific direction. They will support economists in their daily macro-monitoring and quarterly forecasting tasks, as well as in their ad hoc research work. This year, the team’s work will focus on trade relations between China and Europe; the resilience of the labor market in a context of falling productivity; and the macroeconomic impact of venture capital in Europe in the context of the capital markets union.
The candidate will take part in the daily business of the EMEA economic team and have the chance to discover the job of economic forecasting and macro-risks monitoring.

Responsibilities:

  • Macro surveillance of eurozone key economies
  • Research of economic literature and databases
  • Ad hoc quantitative macroeconomic analysis on topical issues
  • Drafting of short notes

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree in Economics and English are required .
  • German would be a plus for the Frankfurt location
  • Programming on Econometric tools like R or Python or Stata is required .
