Description:
Overview
We’re looking for an intern for a duration of 6 months. As part of the European Marketing team the Intern supports the Marketing, Sales and Corporate functions in planning, executing and follow up of virtual and in person events. The intern also supports the Events & Merchandising Coordinator to facilitate the planning, production, inventory and delivery of merchandise and promotional items that create brand excitement.
Responsibilities
- Support the coordination of European Corporate, Road, Gravel and MTB events and Trade shows (before, during, after)
- Support the coordination of Sales functions with their customer events
- Support the communication planning related to events (before, during, after)
- Negotiate with event organizers/vendors to control quality, pricing, delivery terms & timing
- Facilitate the development, production, and inventory of promotional items such as soft goods
- Assist in asset purchases of hard goods such as tents, displays and equipment
- May perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Currently studying business administration with a focus on Marketing
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Fluent in English written and verbal
- First event planning experiences is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Hands-on approach
- Ability to stand on feet at events for 8 hours
- Ability to travel and work nationally
