The DTFS Global Services department has set itself the goal of developing new services for our DTFS markets. On the one hand, we want to increase the footprint of DTFS and thus support the sales organization of Daimler Truck AG with our products and, on the other hand, open up new revenue pools for the Daimler Truck Group as a whole with our recurring revenue streams.
The position „DTFS Global Services Business Development“ will be responsible for the invention, evaluation and go-live of new service solutions, might it be cooperations, joint ventures or the development of new product ideas. Together with the team, you will challenge existing solutions and find ways to change existing products or bring new offers to our customer all over the world.
We search for people with the ambition to generate more value for DTFS and the Daimler Truck Group. Creative minds that think outside the box and see opportunities, which might sound odd at the beginning, are the people we are looking for. At the same time, however, we need a strong business focus and a clear path towards a profitable and sustainable business model.
Ideally, you have either a background in financial services, sales & marketing or operations, or a strong knowledge in the truck business and the challenges ahead. In any case, we trust that we can grow and prosper together. We learn from each other and we succeed as a team!

Responsibilities:

  • Re-think existing solutions and develop new ideas on implementing financial services products around the globe
  • Search for new business and cross selling opportunities
  • Market research and analysis for local conditions and prerequisites e.g. data requirements, risk profile and economic development
  • Support on managing projects and products through different stages, i.e. Feasibility, MVP to Scaling
  • Preparation of senior and top management briefings as well as external stakeholders like banks or industrial partners
