We are looking for an intern in the field of EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) to join our Mercury Plant in Dudelange.
As an intern you will have the opportunity to:
support our EHS team based in our new plant in Dudelange on the implementation of the Goodyear Global EHS Management System Standard. This is an excellent opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience and make a meaningful impact.

Your responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of EHS procedures, with a focus on the Serious Injury Prevention Program and specific indicators such as isolation/control of hazardous energy (i.e., lockout/tagout), electrical safety, machine guarding, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS standards by enforcing guidelines and regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety-walks to monitor shop floor safety measures and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance EHS compliance and minimize risk, and contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of action plans

TO JOIN OUR TEAM, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Be enrolled in a Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering degree (EHS or Mechanical/Electrical) or any related field

We are looking for the following skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Self-driven and proactive in taking initiative
  • Language skills: English is must, French and German are considered as an advantage.
