WHAT YOU WILL DO

At Volvo Group Digital & IT you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry, and society at large. You will:

• Be a Java / full-stack developer in the agile development team.
• Actively participate in planning, developing, and implementing back-end solutions.
• Work with designers and software engineers to develop modern & intuitive applications.
• Work with security, fix vulnerabilities, and perform application scanning.
• Participate in the development of new features and technical upgrades.
• Code refactoring, JUnit coverage.

• Minimum 2-3 years of recent practical experience in Java.
• Experience with Java 8, Spring, Spring Boot, JUnit.
• Nice to have: Angular, Docker.
• Ability to write high-quality code and to participate in Code Reviews.
• Ability to identify areas to improve, design, and develop improvements.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues in the team.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Motivation, and ability to work independently with daily tasks.
• Knowledge of SQL and databases, i.e., Oracle DB
