THE OPPORTUNITY
The Tax & Accounting knowledge team collects and manages relevant knowledge and information and shares it with our Tax & Accounting professionals. In addition, they ensure that the learning curve of our professionals is enhanced, taken into account innovation, continuous learning and improvement of skills and expertise, all with the aim of helping them to provide exceptional client services.

Responsibilities:
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As an intern, you will support the team in their day-to-day job and help them with preparatory work. Your internship will consist of supporting the following tasks that are part of the package of our team members:
- To closely follow-up new (tax and accounting) legislation, literature and case law on a national, European and international level;
- To support our client facing professionals within the tax and accounting department in their daily activities, e.g. push relevant information to the teams and provide tax & accounting technical support;
- To facilitate knowledge sharing and assist with research;
- To promote and facilitate a learning culture;
- To support our internal newsflash;
- To support go-to-market initiatives (e.g. client alerts, brochures,…);
- To explore and evaluate new technology and tools, and to promote best practices.
TO QUALIFY FOR THE ROLE YOU MUST
- Currently be getting a bachelor degree in accountancy and taxes, a bachelor degree in legal practice (with special interest in accounting and/or taxes), a master degree in economics (optionally combined with an additional accountancy or tax degree), a master degree in law (optionally combined with an additional accountancy or tax degree);
- A good knowledge of Dutch and/or French and English;
- Very good research, analysing, writing, communication and planning skills;
- An open mindset and you must be a team player, committed & results-oriented, critical, innovative and curious;
- Be able to work at our Diegem office for at least 2 days a week. If desired, working at our Diegem office could be combined with working at a local office for 2 days a week (Antwerp, Ghent, Hasselt,…). Working at home during 1 day a week is also among the possibilities.
