Humana is the industry leader in payer-to-provider interoperability, driving better outcomes for our providers and members. In this role, you will recruit new health systems and their adoption of our products (e.g., Medical Record Retrieval, Point of Care Alerts, Medical Authorization, etc.). Additionally, you will drive new product connectivity to exisiting health systems in coordination with the provider engagement team. One’s ability to collaborate within a team dynamic, leveraging outside providers, while partnering with the market through influence will directly contribute to the the growth and success of interoperability.
The Enterprise Transformation Lead of Interoperability, Provider Recruitment, will understanding and delivering information about our 10+ Products while also coordinating with providers and the market engagement teams to tailor the sales presentations.
To be successful in this position, you will need an understanding of sales and recruitment and general knowledge of payer-to-provider interoperability – and interoperability more broadly in the healthcare payer space. You will work with market teams, Humana business leaders and providers to form partnerships that help Humana’s Interoperability team achieve strategic enterprise goals. Performance will largely be measured by growth of our connected provider landscape, and scale of products implemented said providers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing and Sales, Business Management, HR or related field
  • 3+ years of provider engagement OR account management within healthcare
  • Familiarity with tracking account/provider KPIs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • PMP certification
  • Six Sigma certification
  • Knowledge of Medicare policies, processes, and procedures
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and/or Palantir Foundry
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

WORK-AT-HOME REQUIREMENTS

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:

  • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
  • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
  • Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

  • Grow potential provider targets in partnership with markets and other internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate with internal and external partners regarding day-to-day and long-term efforts.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with EHR vendor and market partners.
  • Maintain documentation and update associate tracker with market, provider, and vendor recruitment communications.
  • Contribute to the recruitment strategies for new vendor partner programs/products.
  • Lead deep dive orientations with market leaders on our product portfolio, including development of supporting educational resources.
  • Lead tactical interoperability meetings at a market level to showcase the use case, benefits, and implementation elements of our products; driving health system value
  • Collaborate in a dynamic team environment, calm under pressure, operating with a continuous improvement mindset.
