Description:

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for the maintaining accurate records of inventory. This position reports to the Inventory Control Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively.
  • At least 1 year experience in similar position
  • Able to drive Forklift, Order picker, Reach or willing to learn
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must have no issues with heights.
  • Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
  • Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including weekends holidays as needed by the customer.

Responsibilities:

  • The performance of the daily/weekly cycle counts.
  • Count all the locations in the warehouse and help with the investigation.
  • Reconciles Inventory to book records and make adjustments whennecessary.
  • Participate in annual physical inventories.
  • Hold and release the stock as per client’s request.
  • Count in house damages and update the system.
  • Demonstrate eagerness and ability to learn and use WHS as necessary in the operation.
  • Check expiry dates.
  • Ability to operate office equipment (computers, scanners, etc.) to accomplish necessary objectives.
  • Safely operate Material Handling equipment as outlined in the Associate Training Manual
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Flexibility to work off shifts.
