Description:

The Role
Core Responsibilities • Lead the daily discussions with all suppliers and align department goals & objectives. • Strengthen the sourcing capabilities by introducing new alternative suppliers. • Conduct a regular and comprehensive analysis of the inventory and be the focal point in coordination with the sales teams. • Increase the reporting capabilities to ensure better visibility with detailed monitoring on the operational K’I’s. • Build a strong relationship with internal stakeholders to ensure better understanding and alignment with part and aftersales managers. • Plan stock orders for new model parts, multi-brand parts, recall campaign, seasonal, accessories, etc., • Analyze supplier lead time and take corrective actions to minimize backorders and longer lead time. • Ensure timely and accurate ETA updates and minimize turnaround time to increase customer satisfaction • Monitor and analyze supplier source-wise order fill ratio and take corrective actions. • Rationalize company’s inventory by turning the stock at least 3 times a year, which means MOS=4.0 • Maintain order system parameters and functionality (Syncron/Autoline) • Monitor suppliers’ fill rate and constant BO follow up and release to avoid aged BOs from suppliers and accordingly BOs to customers. • Responsible for inventory policy and parameter settings in Syncron in line with business requirements. • Identify nonproductive processes and re-design processes to improve productivity. • Place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus. • Deadstock reduction at all company’s branches by analyzing dead stock products and suggesting special offers. • Minimize VOR line items by enhancing availability at branches workshops. • Review operations schedules and stock order requirements to ensure entirely timely order fulfillment. • Empowering staff for decision-making in their respective roles by facilitating necessary tools and training. • Train team to perform multiple roles with in inventory team to gain knowledge and stay flexible. • KPI’s set up to measure performance and fill gaps for performance improvement. • Understand and implement the company QHSE and OSH policy. Allocate responsibility for the QHSE management system and delegate authority. • Lead in QHSE Risk Management activities within their department ensuring that the methods and systems of work are safe and appropriate for betterment of the operation. Also that the necessary procedures, rules, and regulations designed to achieve this are formulated, published, and applied. • Ensure that all new and existing employees in the company are provided with a copy of the policy statement, receive such induction training as may be laid down in procedures, are issued with personal protective equipment as required and their personal responsibilities as set out in company’s QHSE Manual Competencies and Skills
Requirements
Competencies and Skills • BSc/BA in business administration, logistics or relevant field; Industrial engineering or equivalent • 5-years work experience in inventory management • Strong knowledge of data analysis and forecasting • Proven experience as inventory manager or similar position • Working knowledge of inventory management software, preferably Syncron System. • Professional certification (preferred); computer
