Description:

The Inventory Management Supervisor is responsible for leading the inventory and property team in effective and efficient analysis, coordination, and management of activities pertaining to inventory, accountable property, asset management, and for coordination with the other applicable business areas who are reliant on inventory and data information in the site SAP management system.
The Supervisor will monitor and analyze the material master’s and be responsible to control and analyze warehouse inventory levels, be responsible for logistics required system data relating to operations and maintenance of equipment, and for coordination, guidance, and outreach to all personnel who require inventory, property and material management services.
The Supervisor will be responsible for critical analysis and management of all inventories and will ensure that the mission for the inventory and property team is carried out.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • SAP MM and MRP experience
  • High level of experience in inventory analysis and optimization.
  • High level of experience in MRP Inventory Management.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
  • EH&S training and awareness, with ability to implement related procedures.
  • Strong leadership skills, with an ability to supervise and coordinate a diverse team. Field: Logistics
  • Knowledge of, and ability to implement, security related policies and procedures.
  • Advanced user in Logistics Management software.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in warehousing and invent Knowledge and experience in asset management inventory operations.
  • Ability to develop and implement improved procedures to enhance warehousing operations
  • Undergraduate Degree

EXPERIENCE

  • 1 to 5 years – in a similar role performing Inventory Management

  • At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise the annual accountable property audit liaising with other Site points of contact as necessary and providing updates to department management on completion expectations
  • Responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and integrity of all inventory systems managing both critical and non-critical materials and assets
  • Assist and lead the Inventory Management Team to execute tasks associated with delivering optimum inventory management functions
  • Supervise, control, and analyze warehouse inventory levels and provide results orientated plans aimed at optimal operating efficiency of inventory
  • Supervise and control the MRP function
  • Author, manage, maintain, and update the applicable polices, support documents and work instructions for those activities associated with the Property and Inventory Team. Collaborate, provide feedback and updates to the Logistics Manager to ensure all Property and Inventory processes are correctly documented and maintained.
  • Collaborate feedback and updates with the Logistics Manager to ensure all warehouse/distribution inventory processes are correctly documented, and maintain, report and distribute all warehouse inventory KPIs
  • Champion the range of inventory-related activities within and ITS Warehouses, including cataloguing of incoming stores, stock levels, record management within identified logistics management system and system of record (SAP) and make recommendation for process / inventory optimization
  • Manage and coordinate stocktaking activities within and ITS warehouse areas with fellow coordinators within the Logistics Leadership Team
  • Ensure compliance with all site’s environmental health and safety requirements
