Responsibilities:

The postholder will manage and review quality standards for basic inventory data, terminology, new records, and bulk uploads in the Museum’s Collection Management System (MI+) in compliance with licences, legal requirements, and statutory obligations.
The primary focus of this role will be to establish a comprehensive framework of large-scale collection audits in order to maintain record qualitiy, and thereby collection security and accountability in the long term. The postholder will also provide MI+ support to the Registration Project, developing training sessions, supplying advice and practical help, monitoring the overall progress of figures against the target, and analysing the quality and state of completion of the records.
