About this team
Quality is at the heart of who we are. The Market Product Integrity teams key objective is to design and operate the Market product integrity system to maximize the product’s value to the guest while minimizing risk to the brand. They serve as the key in-market representative for enterprise Product Integrity. Within this team, Inventory Quality Management exists to ensure product flows according to Market needs while minimizing risk to the brand.
A day in the life
This role provides leadership and guidance to the policies and procedures in optimizing and implementing lululemon quality processes and technology systems, acting as liaison between Quality and Technology for system implementation, updates and maintenance. This role is a blend of business process and technology, requiring an ability to critically evaluate end-to-end business processes governing product and supplier quality, translate new requirements and pass onto crossfunctional partners (including technology) to ensure quality needs are integrated across product creation processes, business processes, and technology systems and tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s in Science/Engineering, quality and/or regulatory compliance or related discipline
  • Post-Secondary Diploma in Process Improvement, Quality or Compliance will be an added advantage
  • Min. 5 years relevant experience in manufacturing or quality
  • Working knowledge of quality management processes, control documents
  • Working knowledge of electron QMS and technology applications • Experience in implementation of Quality Software 1+ year (Asset)
  • Interpersonal skills - ability to influence people in variety of functions, motivations
  • Project Management - ability to problem-solve quickly to achieve results • Business Process Mapping using Visio or related software tools
  • Audit skillset is an asset
  • Tech savvy with an ability to articulate business requirements so they can be translated into technology solutions

Responsibilities:

ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

  • Create work instructions and execute product rework with LLOs, factories, VAS, and 3rd party rework facilities
  • Adjust inspection strategy based on incoming inspection results across other DCs or risks raised from Supplier Quality Team
  • Create and manage supplier chargeback requests

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Scope issues and create short-term containment and long-term remediation strategy for product quality issues at DC and store and communicate with relevant Supplier-facing quality teams
  • Create strategy to manage quality Inventory at DC and store
  • Manage movement and reconciliation of inventory during a recall, pullback, or rework
  • Consolidate market product inspections data and derive insights on performance of the PI system and execution against standards and policies
  • Subject matter expert on inventory management technology systems
  • Control movement of inventory to guests
  • Continuously monitor business and supplier product risk and adjust DC Inspections strategy accordingly
