Description:

SUMMARY:

Maintains and tracks inventory levels; provides for efficient receipt and recording of deliveries and shipments; ensures delivery, distribution, and security of goods for assigned area (Shipping & Receiving, Warehouse or F&B) as directed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One year experience in storeroom or warehouse operations (required)
  • Previous experience operating a forklift or similar equipment (preferred)
  • A valid California Driver’s license (required)
  • Must be vehicle insurable
  • Knowledge of inventory system development
  • Knowledge of safety standards in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to operate 10-key calculator and PCs.

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background investigation, and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (*CONSTANTLY, FREQUENTLY, OCCASIONALLY)

  • Constantly walking and standing
  • Constantly hearing, seeing and talking
  • Constantly balancing, bending, reaching, twisting, holding, wrist motion, and stooping
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repetitively

Responsibilities:

  • Receives requests for supplies, verifies authorization, records disbursement and delivers items to requesting party in a timely manner
  • Enters purchase orders into computer system
  • Checks deliveries to insure items ordered are delivered in good condition
  • Develops and maintains an inventory system to track receipts, disbursements, and supplies to prevent depletion of stock.
  • Maintains vendor information files, purchase order files and others as directed or required
  • Keeps inventory area secured and monitors access to authorized persons
  • Communicates effectively; orally and in writing
  • Follows written and oral instructions
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with coworkers, vendors and the public
  • Performs other duties as directed
