    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Inventory Specialist manages all vehicles for auction and/or stock. Strives to contribute to the store’s efforts to deliver an exceptional guest experience to our guests by making it a top priority to help other team members who are serving our guests (e.g., by being highly responsive to those team members’ requests for information or assistance that will help them serve our guests). Never think “that’s not in my job description”. Wowing our guests is the job of EVERY Team Member, even those who don’t interact directly with guests!

  • Attendance and Punctuality.
  • Adheres to Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to the dealership dress code.
  • Maintains accounting of all vehicles on dealership property.
  • Compares serial numbers of incoming cars against invoice and barcodes vehicles.
  • Catalogs and stores keys.
  • Assigns stock control numbers to vehicles.
  • Runs reports to identify location of vehicles.
  • Setup auction lineup on a weekly basis as needed.
  • Protects dealership and customer information.
  • Assists with clerical duties as requested and any other duties assigned.
  • Works well in a team environment. Maintains good relationships with department and dealership personnel.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and meet company MVR policy requirements
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings (background and drug test)
