The District Attorney’s office is recruiting for Investigative Technicians III to perform varying levels of research, service of subpoenas in the field, investigative support functions, trial preparation, forensic computer examination work, and drafting of court orders for the District Attorney’s Bureau of Investigation. This position may respond to hazmat situations and death investigations, or be assigned to oversee the Bureau’s evidence, fleet, equipment, training, and computerized building access/ID card systems.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Fifteen (15) semester or (23) quarter units of completed college coursework in Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice, Social/Behavioral Science, Business/Public Administration or closely related field. A list of completed college coursework is required unless an applicant has an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a qualifying area.
