Responsibilities:
ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dynamic Investment Analyst (China Equities) to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and assessing investment opportunities, preparing financial models, conducting research, and eventually managing a portfolio of Chinese equities.
EXPECTED RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assessing the attractiveness of potential investments in listed equities in China by analysing their business model, strategy, and competitive environment
- Creating/maintaining valuation models for companies under coverage by thoroughly analysing their financial accounts, underlying industry metrics and operational metrics. Your insights will help us make long-term investment decisions
- Leading meetings with company management, speaking to various stakeholders (suppliers, customers, former employees etc) and attending broker conferences
- Providing regular updates and recommendations to the investment team on companies under coverage
