Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Located in Amsterdam, Our client is a venture capital firm dedicated to fostering the growth of the next wave of Dutch healthcare ventures, boasting a solid track record with its fund. We are now launching a new fund and seeking an investment analyst passionate about life science innovations and their commercial potentials. The role involves leading the deal sourcing and analysis process through to crafting investment proposals. This full-time position is based in Amstelveen.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform initial screening and documentation of incoming deal flow across various channels including events, emails, and personal networks.
  • Participate in deal sourcing, conducting evaluations of companies encountered at events and other venues.
  • Join (prospective) portfolio company meetings with the fund manager, and document discussions.
  • Support the analysis of investment opportunities by compiling data on competitors, market transactions, market sizes, and other pertinent deal-specific research.
  • Prepare investment memorandums that outline the investment rationale for potential deals.
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support for portfolio management.
  • Manage the organization and filing of fund documentation.
  • Help the fund manager prepare annual fund reports.
