Description:

Our client, who is a licensed asset managing company focused on the creation and management of real estate funds requires an experienced and dynamic Investment Director to drive their expansion plans

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

15+ years of real estate investments experience at an investment firm/asset manager/family office in UAE or GCC.
A degree in real estate, finance or related field.
Significant experience of overseeing real asset transactions from end to end including income-producing assets and development projects.
A proven track record of successfully overseeing the creation and implementation of development funds.
Experience in financial modeling and analysis, valuation and investment management.
Ability to analyse complex data and present recommendations and solutions to all relevant stakeholders.
Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically and analytically.
High professional integrity, strong work ethic and excellent communication skill

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

The Investment Director will be responsible for driving the growth the business portfolio by successfully sourcing and structuring new deals, ensuring capital is invested into projects which are profitable and align with the groups strategy and KPIs.

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Taking a strategic view to develop the groups real estate portfolio considering the geographies, sectors and assets which will maximise value creation.
Assessing market data and trends to provide insights which will guide investment decisions.
Actively identifying, sourcing and analysing potential deals.
Engaging with key stakeholders in relevant markets to ensure exposure to opportunities and maintain deal flow.
Screening potential transactions by analysing legal, technical and financial information in the context of current market data and trends.
Ensuring that transactions align with the groups strategic priorities and KPIs
Managing investment deals from start to finish, including negotiations, management of stakeholders and completion of financial, legal, technical due diligence, and contractual documentation.
Structuring various types of real estate transactions including acquisitions/disposals, joint-ventures and creation of investment and development funds.
Creating and promoting investment memorandum and participating in road shows and investor meetings to raise capital for real estate funds.
Leading the commercial aspects of development projects including feasibility, site-acquisition, design, delivery oversight, and sourcing and negotiation of leases, operator and sales and purchase agreements.
