Description:

Our Investment Office, Private Equity (PE) Team is currently seeking an Investment Officer III (IO III) to be responsible for performing duties at the advanced working level and acts as lead for day-to-day coordination, work review, and training of lower level IOs while assisting with the administration of the PE Program as directed and other CalPERS investment staff.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Act as lead in the negotiation of legal terms governing our investments including those within Limited Partner Agreements and Side Letters.
- Assist the lead Investment Manager (IM) in CPE investing activities such as designing our investment strategy, instituting team processes, and creating shareable materials such as templates, sector libraries, and investing materials using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Respond to various ad-hoc requests from CalPERS’ Investment Committee, the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Investment Officer, and other stakeholders that require analysis and input from the PE Team, as necessary.
Interview Dates: We anticipate interviews to be held one month from the final file date.
Telework Information: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.
