As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our investment operations and infrastructure, we are embarking on a strategic project aimed at optimizing our investment operations processes, systems, and workflows. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Investment Operations Project Manager to lead and drive the successful execution of this project.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the investment operations project, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and priorities.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across investment operations, technology, risk management, and compliance to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish project timelines and milestones.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, track progress against milestones, and identify and mitigate risks to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Manage project resources, including internal team members, external consultants, and vendors, to ensure effective utilization and allocation of resources.
  • Work closely with technology teams to evaluate, select, and implement new systems and technologies to support investment operations processes and workflows, including system integration efforts.
  • Oversee the implementation of investment reporting systems and tools, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of investment performance, risk metrics, and compliance requirements.
  • Drive change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies by stakeholders across the organization.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, issues, and key decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience managing investment operations projects within the asset management or insurance industry, with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management roles.
  • Strong understanding of investment operations processes and systems, including trade processing, settlement, reconciliation, performance measurement, and reporting.
  • Experience with investment management systems (e.g., order management systems, portfolio accounting systems) and data management platforms.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
