Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and meticulous Investment Operations Tax Associate to join a dynamic team in London. The successful candidate will work closely with advisors to oversee the submission of overseas tax returns for investment entities, ensuring all processes are carried out in a timely and efficient manner. Responsibilities:

As an Investment Operations Tax Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Investment Tax and the Tax Manager with tax compliance and reporting requirements. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring that overseas tax reclaims and documentation are processed efficiently. You will also coordinate with advisors to oversee the submission of overseas tax returns for investment entities. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity.

  • Coordinate, prepare and oversee the timely accurate filing of tax reclaims for pension schemes and pooled funds
  • Manage advisor costs through appropriate use of external service providers including Custodian and tax professionals
  • Support in response to overseas tax authority queries
  • Monitor tax reclaims made and liaise with F&IA team to consider the appropriate accounting treatment
  • Assist with providing tax documentation that may be requested from time to time
  • Coordinate, oversee and manage the timely accurate filing of the overseas tax returns of the relevant entities within the investment structures
  • Maintain knowledge of tax reclaims and relief at source in the markets we invest
  • Respond to Adhoc tax queries that colleagues may have
