Investment Reporting Assistant Manager (MI)
About The Job
What you’ll spend your time doing:
- Responsible for the management of the MI Reporting team to ensure that the monthly and quarterly deadlines are met and all processes are performed accurately.
- Interaction with all clients
- Oversight of BNPP outsourcing as global custodian.
- Responsible for the oversight of Reporting activities which are outsourced
- Ensure procedures are up to date and are in line with MS AIML governance.
- Identify areas for Continuous Improvement within the function.
- Key participant in Client Change and On-boarding activities
- Ensuring that the function has a proactive approach to Risk Management
- Working collaboratively across MS AIML to ensure Strategic Objectives are met
- Maintain strong relationships with Third Party Administrators, Counterparties and System Vendors
- Responsible for Business Continuity Planning
- Provide support and cover the Reporting Manager and Assistant Reporting Manager (Regulatory)
MI Reporting BAU Activity
- Coordinate the preparation and review of reports required for the formulation of investment strategy, including analysis of asset allocation and performance, for all clients.
- Oversee the preparation of derivatives valuation reporting
- Coordinate and participate in the production and review of Investment information for inclusion in our client’s YE financial, rating agency and accounting reporting.
- Oversight of the BNPP teams responsible for date. Includes monthly meetings, RAG status and service review meetings.
- Liaise with Sub-advisors regarding reporting, reconciliation and provision of data.
- Oversight of ad hoc reporting queries from all clients.
- Ensure all reporting is issued in accordance with internal, regulatory and audit requirements.

What skills, experience or qualifications would be beneficial:
- Experience of line management within an Investment Operations team
- 3 year of experience within Investment Operations
- Strong understanding of MI Reporting, experience of Investment products and client service.
