QUALIFICATIONS:

We seek to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and are proven self-starters. In addition to excellent analytical and presentation skills, the successful candidate should have strong judgement, discretion, work ethic and communication skills and possess the following:

  • 4-7 years of relevant work experience in Equity Research, Investment Banking, Strategic IR Consulting or similar quantitatively focused IR roles; strong preference for Equity Research covering the Financials sector.
  • Exceptional intellectual curiosity with proven capability to problem-solve strategically using advanced qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
  • Experience in reading and analyzing complex financial statements and conducting equity analysis.
  • Strong written, verbal and communication skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • High level of competency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Highly collaborative team player.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or other related field.

Expected annualized base salary of $150,000 - $175,000.
This range represents the low and high ends of the expected annualized base salary for this position. The specific base salary received by any employee will be informed by a number of factors, including but not limited to, role level and scope, location, candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills and experience.
Base salary is one component of PJT Partners’ compensation structure. In addition to base salary, PJT Partners’ compensation structure may include additional rewards, incentives and benefits, including but not limited to, a discretionary bonus component.

Responsibilities:

The Head of Investor Relations at PJT Partners is adding an experienced Associate or Vice President to support the breadth of the team’s deliverables. This role provides an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-impact, dynamic role with exposure across a broad suite of corporate activities.

Key aspects of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the firm, its investor base and its Investor Relations strategy.
  • Work with the Management team in the preparation of earnings reports and investor presentations.
  • Own various internal and external analyses, including market, competitive and industry and prepare high-impact management presentations.
  • Work closely with the FP&A team to understand all aspects of PJT Partners’ financial forecasting, modeling and valuation metrics.
  • Communicate with investors and research analysts.
  • Partner with the Head of Investor Relations in leading the firm’s engagement with the governance teams of our largest investors.
  • Help drive the firm’s Corporate Sustainability strategy including through the publication of PJT Partners’ annual Corporate Sustainability Report.
  • Enhance the firm’s Investor Relations infrastructure.
