SKILLS & QUALIFICIATIONS

  • Degree in accounting, finance, economics, commerce, or related discipline.
  • Experience in financial services or insurance sector.
  • Thorough understanding of statutory accounts and ability to analyse financial results.
  • High level of organizational, presentation, communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement.
  • Preferred experience in investor relations.
  • Experience in corporate reporting.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT & THE ROLE

Our client is a leading health insurance provider offering a range of health cover options and services to individuals and families, focusing on providing accessible and comprehensive healthcare solutions in Australia. They are seeking an aspiring Investor Relations Manager to lead and manage their client’s investor relations activities, including overseeing shareholder communications, engagement with external stakeholders, financial and market analysis, and supporting strategic planning processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage internal relationships for investor relations activities.
  • Lead relationships with share registry and external investor relations service providers.
  • Assist in budget forecasting and development.
  • Manage shareholder communications and events.
  • Oversee share registry, investor relations database, and CRM.
  • Engage with proxy advisors, institutional shareholders, and sell-side analysts.
  • Develop and manage investor relations engagement calendar.
  • Maintain the shareholder website.
  • Provide backup support to Head of Investor Relations.
  • Assist in preparing the investor relations strategy.
  • Analyse financial results and data for shareholder communications.
  • Monitor financial data for results documentation.
  • Review analyst reports and share registry analysis, providing summary reports.
  • Collect and analyse share trading data.
  • Ensure accuracy and verification of data in shareholder communications.
  • Assist actuarial & analytics and performance, planning & capital teams in budget and strategic planning processes.
