Description:

You will play an exciting role on our team, working alongside the CEO as Investor Relations. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for raising equity as well as developing/maintaining systems related to equity raise. Having deep relationships with equity sources
will enable you to excel at this role and beyond to a potential leadership level. A daily drive to succeed, strong relationship skills, and knowledge of equity markets and multifamily real estate will be necessary for this important role as you interact with investment partners to fund our acquisitions.

Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with existing and new investors to gain investment commitments for current and upcoming opportunities
  • Engaging with family offices, investment partners, funds, RIA’s, and other sources to source new equity
  • Management of the investor CRM database
  • Responsible for ensuring all new leads are in an automated drip campaign process to build trust and confidence to eventually invest
  • Communicating periodically with investors to strengthen the relationship and gather referral investor leads
  • Implementing and managing marketing systems to gain new investor contacts through website funnels, social media sites, and other channels
  • Collectively collaborate with the CEO and marketing team to innovate and create new systems to market effectively to gain new leads
  • Utilizing prior industry knowledge to strategize and implement equity structures in an effort to raise higher equity amounts and lower overall cost of capital
  • Utilizing prior industry knowledge to collaborate and implement other equity tools such as a fund to raise private equity
  • Be an integral part of fund roll-out
  • Be involved in all acquisition decisions as investment committee to confirm that acquisitions are a solid fit for our investment partners and investment strategy
  • Prior equity raise experience from high-net-worth individuals, family offices, RIA’s etc.
  • Real estate experience a requirement (minimum of 2 years in investor relations role)
  • Strong relationship skills and story-telling skills Industry comprehension of equity structures
  • Basic comprehension of industry debt structures (preferred, not required)
