We are looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager to focus on our Mobile Solutions (Joist and Invoice Simple products). Invoice Simple is the leading invoice app for contractors, freelancers, owner-operators, creatives, and other small business owners in any industry and in any country. Invoice Simple is the easiest way to invoice your customers and get paid. Joist is the #1 app built exclusively for contractors. Our easy-to-use mobile and web applications give home pros the ability to quickly create professional estimates and invoices, accept payments, and manage their projects from anywhere.
Responsibilities:

The Strategic Partnerships Manager will work with internal and external stakeholders to source and own growth partnerships. We see partnerships as an important part of business growth and are fortunate to be an ideal partner for external technology, fintech and other common-ICP solutions, while also having significant opportunities within the EverCommerce ecosystem to drive value-add partnerships. You are adept at distilling opportunities into quick wins and larger investments for in-year and multi-year impact. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role, so you excel at understanding business objectives, identifying data and analytical needs, quickly identifying partner opportunities, and owning what you secure, driving strong growth through happy partners.

  • Identifying and Evaluating Opportunities: Identifying potential strategic partners that align with our objectives and evaluating the potential benefits and risks of partnerships, advocating for Joist and/or Invoice Simple as pivotal partners in their business strategy.
  • Strategic Business Growth: Spearhead the development of new business and product categories, aligning efforts with our vision for innovation and growth. Focus on tangible revenue goals and the creation of a sustainable pipeline for new business development opportunities.
  • Driving Revenue Growth: Driver and Responsible for ongoing partner program management. Work closely with partners to develop joint initiatives, co-marketing campaigns, and sales strategies that increase revenue for both parties.
  • Facilitating Integration and Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration and integration between the company and its partners, ensuring smooth execution of joint projects, product integrations, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Monitoring Performance and Success Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of partnerships. Use data and analytics to make informed decisions and optimize partnership performance.
  • Market Intelligence and Analysis: Keep a finger on the pulse of market trends, employing a data-driven approach to identify and seize opportunities in the evolving M-SMB landscape.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with internal teams, such as product, payments, growth engagement, data, design, success, support, legal, plus other EverCommerce organizations, to align partnership strategies with product capabilities and market positioning.
  • Resourcefulness: Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate challenges creatively and efficiently, making the most of available resources to achieve business objectives.

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

  • You are smart and curious.
  • At least 7 years of experience with direct experience in business development or technology industry partnerships.
  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing and growing strategic partnerships, with a focus on product partnerships.
  • Proven experience in collaboration, coordination, and program management across cross-functional teams to drive material revenue impact through partnerships.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaborate well with different teams, even with minimal guidance.
  • Strong analytical skills, with an ability to translate market trends into actionable strategies.
  • A proven record of thinking strategically, with an innovative and goal-oriented mindset.

Where:
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: EverCommerce is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $125,000 – $145,000 CAD Per Year. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. EverCommerce considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, candidate’s work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
