This position reports to Logistics Manager
Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for a talented Invoicing & Trade Compliance Specialist to Large Motors and Generators division in Helsinki. You will be responsible for products and services invoicing, and you also play a pivotal role in ensuring our invoicing is done according to sales orders as well as delivery terms and conditions. Additionally, you lead trade and customs compliance regulations processes. This is an independent role in a small team with close collaboration with various internal stakeholders like Project Management, Business Controllers and Trade and Logistics Specialists.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Invoicing process, status follow-up and reporting
- Reclamation invoicing and preparing of credit notes
- Customer register maintenance
- Supporting and giving guidance to the business related Customs Compliance (import and export) and product classification (HS-coding, etc.)
- Training and cascading the information to the organization as regulation and business environment develop
- Leading origin definition and calculation process
- Acting as a VAT specialist within the business unit
- Support internal and external stakeholders with invoicing related issues
Qualifications for the role
- Solid knowledge of VAT guidelines and international commerce terms
- Good skills in SAP and basic office tools
- Few years’ experience in invoicing, forwarding or customs compliance tasks in an international business environment is seen an advantage
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Fluent written and spoken skills in Finnish and English
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Business Administration or another relevant field
