REQUIREMENTS:

• Punctuality and attendance are essential to the candidate’s success.
• Valid class “G” Ontario driver’s license or higher.
• Acceptable (insurable) driving record is a must for this position.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the landscaping/construction industry.
• Motivated and eager to learn and develop skills
• Ability to operate and conduct yourself in a safe manner in all work settings.
• Safe operation of company vehicles and equipment.
• Physically fit to work outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods of time

MULTIPLE IRRIGATION/LANDSCAPING POSITIONS - INSTALLATION & SERVICE ROLES.

These are full-time positions with seasonal and year-round openings.
Work hours are Monday- Friday 7:00AM- 5:30PM, with longer hours at peak times of the season.
We are seeking applicants with work experience in landscaping/construction and we provide training for the specifics of each position.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Irrigation service and repairs, low voltage lighting service and repairs and installation of irrigation projects
• Preparation of sales estimates for required repairs and suggested system improvements & efficiency upgrades
• Perform spring start-ups, seasonal adjustments and winterizations on residential and commercial systems of all sizes.
• Diagnose & repair system deficiencies (replace sprinkler heads & nozzles, repair leaks, electrical testing & repair, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and on a team.
• Interact with customers and fellow staff members in a professional manner
• Ensure work is performed efficiently and in a timely manner in all facets.
• Create legible & clearly worded documents for customer and company facing paperwork and processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized and properly stocked company vehicle at all times.
• Participation in safety and industry related training .

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Installation of irrigation systems for both commercial and residential clients.
• Regular tasks involve lifting up to 40lbs, digging, trenching, raking.
• Assembly or modification of irrigation components
• Use of hand and power tools
• Ability to work independently and on a team.
• Ensure work is performed efficiently and in a timely manner
• Participation in safety and industry related training .
