About the job

As our new IT Administrator, you will be responsible for executing both operative and strategic projects related to our Business Unit Heat and Gas Systems at the Aalborg site. Some of your tasks will be:

  • Drive security projects in collaboration with Group Digital IT and other stakeholders.
  • Solve every day IT administrative tasks.
  • Provide assistance and knowledge on larger IT related projects.
  • Perform daily system checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Respond to and resolve IT support tickets from end-users, providing assistance and troubleshooting.
  • Continuously monitor network performance, identifying and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Track and manage IT hardware and software inventory, ensuring accurate records and availability.
  • Create and update documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Maintain and develop a knowledgebase of articles and user guides to help end-users resolve common IT issues.
  • Liaise with IT vendors and service providers to manage contracts, service agreements, and procurement processes.
  • Ensure IT practices comply with relevant laws and regulations and support audit processes as needed.

Who are you
To be a success in the job it requires you to be proactive and solution and development oriented in your daily operations. You will act as the “go-to” person regarding all IT related matters, so a service minded approach is necessary.
What you know
Your educational background can differ but more importantly you have relevant experience from IT administration. We imagine that you have experience managing both operative and strategic IT projects, preferable from a large international organization.
Knowledge of IT service management, including e.g., ITIL principles or similar tools to manage the development and operation, applications and configuration of IT is an advantage.
As part of a global organization, speaking and writing English is a prerequisite.
