Description:

We are hiring an IT Analyst Customer Experience to act as a frontline representative to Information Technology and Steelcase with the responsibility to offer high-performance IT support for our Rosenheim facility!

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • You have an empathetic and consultative approach towards all Steelcase employees or business partners.
  • You are able to build relationships and trust in order to grow technical competency by working with Engineers, IT Architects and Management.
  • A self-learner who keeps abreast of the latest technology advancements in the enterprise and consumer space while abiding by all internal control and compliance practices.
  • You proactively find ways to automate routine tasks and have holistic thinking with a focus on integration and value add.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Higher education graduate.
  • 0-2 years experience in a similar field (technical field support preferred).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft programs: Word, Excel, ServiceNow (would be a plus).
  • Advanced English and German.

Responsibilities:

Provide basic and advanced technical support and consulting. Includes, but is not limited to:

  • Hardware and software installations and configurations.
  • Set up and manage the hardware and software technology products, including troubleshooting throughout the technology value stream.
  • Support end-user workplace devices - laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, copiers, phones, multimedia display screens and video projectors and other technology present in our Rosenheim office and plant.
  • Understand the local network topology and provide basic hands-on support to the Network team.
  • Enforce the Steelcase desktop standards (OS & applications standards).
  • Evaluate, install, set up and manage software products included in the basic desktop system configuration.

Act as responsible for handling user IT incidents and requests via Service-Now software call tracking system according to procedures:

  • Update each incident/request being worked on in the tracking system with details and/or progress towards resolution.
  • Ensure that users are kept informed of the progress and closure of their incidents/requests through the appropriate channels.
  • Manage all incidents according to established procedures and follow the Steelcase IT policy standards.
  • Install and configure new user equipment (laptops, tablets and mobile phones) and make sure applications and procedures specific to Steelcase are followed.
  • You may have responsibility for special assignments such as offering technical support for various events that are happening in our Rosenheim facility, providing technical writing and documentation whenever documentation is obsolete or nonexistent.

Might play a consulting, coordinating or leading role in the development and execution of various local and regional projects and initiatives.
