Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Analyst or similar role, with a strong understanding of IT systems and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and security best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, ITIL Foundation) are a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to design and implement IT solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Evaluate existing IT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Develop, test, and deploy software applications, scripts, and tools to automate tasks and streamline workflows.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and installations to ensure the stability and security of IT infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance and conduct regular audits to identify and address vulnerabilities or compliance issues.
  • Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and training.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for technology adoption or process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and project managers, to deliver IT projects on time and within budget.
  • The IT Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems and solutions to meet the needs of the organization.
  • This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to understand requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop innovative IT solutions.
  • The IT Analyst will also provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the stability and security of IT infrastructure.
  • Ability to join meetings with not only technical people where he/she must be able to understand client needs and be proactive, offering solutions.
  • Eager to learn new technologies but even more importantly learn the basis of the mutual funds industry.
  • Capable of performing UAT with different companies and technologies (swift, apis, files etc)
